Femme Fatale: the female criminal exhibition
March 7 2009 to April 18 2010
Justice & Police Museum, Cnr Phillip & Albert Streets, Circular Quay
The exhibition Femme Fatale: the female criminal is on now at Justice & Police Museum - open 10am-5pm weekends (during daily during school holidays)
Women who commit crime have always intrigued society, yet glamorous film noir seductresses and pulp fiction sirens are starkly at odds with the grim reality of female criminals. Not for the faint hearted, this exhibition examines these extremes, traversing criminology, popular culture and case studies of some of Sydney’s most notorious female criminals.
